The 6 best seduction techniques

The dating game is all about the approach. If you dont try you are never going to get a date on your terms. Most people feel a little intimidated when they enter the dating game. They feel the pressure when trying to walk up to someone they dont know and ask for a date. Breaking the ice is an important first step in this nerve racking process in the search for romance. The opening words you may utter will speak volumes. Literally, in less than 10 seconds you will either have set yourself up for life, have a definite date, or be going home alone as usual with your tail between your legs.

The initial step in initiating a date are simple but daunting. Psychologists tell us that people make their mind up within seconds and I think most of us who are truthful will agree that we know pretty much instantly if we are attracted to someone or not. This can be changed over time but why make it hard for ourselves? Why not strike when the irons hot and grab our date on the first attempt.

If that is the case why is speaking still important? Well, looks are the visual presentation and if someone likes the look of us, its a start but not the full package.

Here are some tips :

1) SMILE -

Psychology and body language experts agree that one of the easiest things you can do to make yourself instantly attractive and approachable is to smile. Make yourself look like a fun person to be with. The look of happiness is an attractive quality.

2) EYE CONTACT -

Harvard psychologist Zick Rubin discovered that when deeply in love, couples look at each other when talking, and are slower to look away when someone else joins the conversation. Simply lock eyes with the person you are attracted to and keep them there, even when they’ve finished talking or someone else joins in,’ advises sexpert and flirting guru Tracy Cox. This way they will know that you’re more interested in them than the other person. If they hold your gaze several times in a row, you can be quietly confident they like you too.

3) COPY BODY MOVEMENTS -

Mirroring someone’s body language is the single most effective thrick to flirting. Just match their gestures and movements. We like people who are like us. If they mirror our behaviour we sense they are on the same level and they tend to drop their guard and let us into their personal space. If the other person is interested they tend to start copying your body language too.

4) LISTEN -

They will feel more important and flattered if they feel you are listening to them. You are making them feel good about themselves and if they feel good about them selves they are more likely to stick around you, giving you all the time you need to impress them.

5) TOUCH -

Touch is the number one instant bonder. A momentary touch can have an electric effect on how somebody feels about you. The more you like someone, the more you want to touch them and the more you touch them, the more they tend to like you.

6) COMPLIMENTS -

Compliments, if done correctly will always make someone feel good about themselves. They are more likely to like you and become more responsive to your advances

It is often said that women are genrally attracted to men who are witty and amusing. This can be confirmed if you look at any dating column request. “Must have a (GSOH) good sense of humor”. A funny, comical approach is always a great opener. Women dont want a 24hour stand up comedian but to break the ice, humor does work. The delivery of this humor is essentially the key, which brings me to my final point.

Chat up lines. They do work, and always will if done correctly. For some, chat up lines are a chore and look stressful to watch. Many come across as aggressive and foolish just because their anxiety levels are rocketing. Under these stress level they just tense up or communicate in a manner they would under normal circumstances. It is all about practice and confidence. The more people you speak to, the more socialable you become and the quicker you will master it.

Look at chat up lines as an ice breaker, not the foundations of a potential relationship

The time-efficient guide to buying snowboarding gear

If you're eager to hit the slopes as soon as possible and finally learn how to snowboard like a pro but still lack the essential snowboarding gear and equipment to get started on your hobby, here's a quick shopping list so you can purchase everything you need from the shop in the shortest time possible!

A List of Snowboarding Gear and Equipment for Beginners

Snowboard - Let's start with the most obvious requirement in snowboard gear. Your choice of snowboard will determine the quality of performance you'll expect from yourself and from the snowboard itself. Your choice will also determine the level of agility and speed you'll enjoy when you're snowboarding.

There are three primary types of snowboards. Freestyle snowboards are short and most suitable for novice snowboarders such as yourself not only because of their size but for its flexibility as well. You'll be able to control freestyle snowboards more easily than other types of boards.

The second type is known as freeride snowboards. These are best for snowboarders who are one or a few levels beyond the novice stage but can in no way refer to themselves as experts...for the time being. Freeride snowboards, incidentally, are arguably the most popular type of snowboard as it allows people to gauge their snowboarding skills and explore their talents without putting themselves in too much danger.

The last type is called alpine snowboards. Whereas freestyle snowboards are known for its flexibility, alpine snowboards are known for its rigid build. They are great for players with highly advanced snowboarding skills and enjoy the thrills of going downhill in incredible speed. This is also the right type of board to use if you wish to make perfect turns and curves.

Snowboard Bindings - Although they may appear flimsy and useless, snowboard bindings in fact play a significant role in keeping snowboarders safe while practicing their favorite sport. There are several types of snowboard bindings for you to choose from: strapped, flow-ins, plated, step-ins, and those without base (baseless).

Snowboarding Boots - Another equally overlooked factor when it comes to increasing the level of safety and protection that a snowboarder enjoys while he's making all sorts of turns and jumps in the slopes are snowboarding boots. Besides offering comfort and warmth to your feet, they also prevent this area - which includes the ankles - from physical injury, or at least reduce the risk of encountering it. Again, there are several types of snowboarding boots that you can choose from - hard boots, soft boots, and those that mix the features of both. When purchasing snowboarding boots, make sure that you purchase those which are durable and you feel comfortable wearing for long periods of time.

Snowboarding Outfit - Just like boots, the right snowboarding outfit will keep you safe and secure from physical harm. It will also keep you warm and lessen the risks of getting affected by hypothermia or frostbite. When shopping for snowboarding apparel, important factors to consider are comfort, quality, and durability or protection against all the natural elements that it will be sure to be exposed to!

Snowboarding Goggles - Lastly, contrary to popular belief, snowboarding goggles are not used for aesthetic purposes only. Rather, they are worn by snowboarders to improve their sense of sight. It's important to see very clearly where you're going because there are a lot of dangers that you'll encounter when you're snowboarding.

Staging your las vegas home for a sale

Putting your Las Vegas home on the market is one thing, but adequately preparing it for buyers is a whole different matter. Home staging is the term used by real estate professionals to help prepare your house so that it will look its absolute best. Realtors will tell you that buyers usually make a decision about a home within the first ten seconds of their visit. Therefore, a wonderful first impression is imperative if you are to sell your home quickly. Should you stage your Las Vegas home? If so, what exactly is involved with home staging?

Although your real estate agent or broker is knowledgeable and skilled on how to market your Las Vegas home, they may not be particularly adept at interior design. That is where a home staging professional comes in. If you use one, they will work toward helping you eliminate clutter, rearrange furniture, and improve your home’s curb appeal. This may involve moving a painting from one wall to another, removing a bulky chair out of a crowded room, trimming the front yard shrubbery, etc. In some cases a Las Vegas home staging professional may recommend that you bring in additional furniture, but you must realize that there is an extra cost involved if you choose that option.

Your real estate agent should be able to refer a home staging professional to you. Most Las Vegas home staging professionals will offer a free written estimate of their recommendations and services. Ask for references from the home staging professional and call them to verify their work.

If you choose a professional who truly excels at home staging, you could recoup the costs of this service through a higher selling price.

What should we do after bariatric surgery

After your bariatric surgery you will be on a very limited diet. Your diet may only include broth, water, jello and other clear liquids for what can seem like a long time. Sometimes it can take up to two weeks before you are able to handle liquids such as shakes, or instant breakfast drinks.

This probably due to the major changes that have been made to your digestive tract. As your stomach and intestinal systems are healing from the surgery you won’t be very hungry and you will even find that the things you used to like are not longer appetizing to your taste buds.

Many patients have reported that they have trouble finding a liquid that is palatable to drink. As its extremely important to make sure you have something to drink in order to prevent dehydration this can be a problem. Often you can experiment with a variety of drinks and flavorings to find something that you like or can tolerate until you are fully healed. Some find that they can only drink water that’s cold or at room temperature for about two months at which point they are able to try flavored fruit drinks.

You may also find that many of the foods you once like are no longer appetizing, which may be considered a good thing or a bad thing depending on your point of view. Some find that fats and carbs are intolerable, especially as in some patients even the slightest amount can cause ‘dumping syndrome.’ Others complain that they can’t handle salads and veggies as well. This is partly because of the fiber in the veggies but also the raw veggies may be hard on your esophagus and new delicate stomach. Sometimes you can start with a salad of plain lettuce coated in an oil and gradually adding one veggie at a time. Be sure to chew very thouroughly.

How to care for leather furniture

Leather is far and away the most durable type of upholstery available in furniture stores. We all know the tender care needed for fabric, such as being careful with dark beverages, since a spill will stain the fabric. Leather furniture care, on the other hand, is more of a mystery. This article will help identify the type of leather you own and provide proper care tips to help you maximize its life.

There are two types of leather found in furniture today – treated (aniline dyed) and untreated (natural leather). Each type of leather requires a different method of care. Treated leather goes through a dyeing process where protecting chemicals are added along with possible color dyes and optional lacquers to add shine. The chemicals add protection which increases the life of the product and the amount of wear and tear it can withstand. Protected leather will not be darkened by liquid spilled on it unless it sits on the leather for longer than 12 hours. You should never use mink oil, saddle soap, or car leather care products on protected leather. These products are not designed for furniture. There are products on the market such as Leatherique and others that may be available at furniture stores that will be safe. There is not a requirement on how often to moisturize leather. The best thing that you can do is to dust it often, keep it out of sunlight (UV rays), and clean it with a soft damp cloth if needed. I would not suggest moisturizing more than once a year.

Natural leather on the other hand is not treated with any protecting chemicals. This leather may have unique color patterns and varying grain patterns upon close inspection. Usually high end furniture is made with natural leather due to its high costs and competition for it among products such as designer purses and shoes. Cleaning agents should never be used on this type of leather. The moisturizer/cleaner will soak into the leather and create a patina, which is a darkened area. Many pieces of furniture have been ruined by cleaning/moisturizing products causing leather to darken, and no longer match the decorating colors of the home. Natural leather should be dusted at least monthly. Avoid using a damp cloth at any time, but if you need to clean something up, do so by all means. Be very careful of liquids since natural leather is very porous and will absorb the liquid quickly. Natural leathers tend to darken a bit as they age due to sunlight and the natural oils found in human skin. Sunlight is very bad for natural leather as the exposed area will darken.

Choosing buying a replica handbag

Today there is no reason to spend $450.00 on an authentic Vuitton Monogram Papillion 30 Bag. With the number of replica handbag dealers on line there are many different replica designer bags to choose from. Better yet, there is probably no one you're going to run into who will know the difference, you may not either. You'll want to do your homework and take your time before buying a replica bag. You want to make sure that you get a good quality replica bag as some of them run in the $200.00 range.

Some online replica handbag sites actually have a hand in the manufacturing of the replicas. Look for these vendors. They choose the bag to be copied, choose the quality of the leather, the buckles and the zippers used. Higher quality business will do their absolute best to copy designer bags, down to the stitches used. They will inspect the bag paying attention to small details. They will also give you a money back guarantee or provide a one month warranty. These bags cost more than cheaper replicas, but they will be worth it.

Be wary of the cheaper replica handbags mass produced in China. Generally these cheap bags are easy to spot. The first clue as to the quality is price. A replica Fendi bag for $19.99 is going to be a disappointment. You will get what you pay for. Some of these dealers will show a picture of a authentic handbag on their website, but that isn't the bag you're going to get. Ask before you buy. If they don't have enough faith in their products to offer a money back guarantee, don't buy it.

If you are lucky enough to want to buy a real designer bag it can be a bit more difficult.

Know the old sayings "if it's too good to be true it probably is" and "you get what you pay for" hold true. You can be assured that lovely Fendi Spy Bag on that online auction, the one starting at $249.00, the one with the bright yellow Fendi tag is not the real thing. No one would offer an authentic Fendi Spy Bag for $249.00.

Who you're purchasing the bag from is of utmost importance. You can be guaranteed that when purchasing that Prada bag from Nieman Marcus or that Gucci from Bergdorf Goodman you're getting an authentic bag, although perhaps not a deal. Check the e-luxury site. Louis Vuitton is one of the actual owners of the e-luxury site. Purchase your Coach bag from their online site. Needless to say authenticity is guaranteed.

Some buyers take their bags to stores like Nieman Marcus or Lord & Taylor to have them authenticated AFTER they purchase them. These department stores will not give a written authentication on a particular bag, but the salesperson will probably tell you whether or not they think the bag is authentic. Don't purchase a bag from anyone without a money back guarantee - ever. If they don't offer a money back guarantee you can be assured the bag isn't authentic. Even if it's the bag of your dreams don't buy it. There will be another one.

Don't be fooled thinking that only authentic bags have holograms and serial numbers. Those that make their money producing knock off bags are on their toes and keep up with any changes made in authentic bags. Even more importantly, when you see a bag for sale anywhere, do you really know what the hologram should look like? Do you know if the serial number should be on a separate metal plate or embossed inside the bag? Should the name Gucci also seen imprinted on the hardware on an authentic bag?

The best way to protect yourself when making ANY purchase is to educate yourself.
