Identity theft recovery the road back

Not too long ago, a friend of mine mentioned that one of his coworkers recently recovered his stolen identity. I asked how long the process took. "Only two years" he replied.

Compared to my business partner's six year nightmare "only" maybe appropriate but like most victims of identity theft, he probably thought "when". As in, "when will I get my life back?"

Privacy Rights Clearinghouse, a consumer nonprofit organization, reported that victims spend on average 175 hours trying to recover their identity, often over a period of years. Factor in out of pocket expenses, (usually over $1,500 according to the FTC) and recovery gets painfully magnified.

What are the steps to identity restoration? It starts with obtaining a police report. That report doesn't mean other law enforcement agencies have been contacted. Yet you must do a complete search of local and federal law enforcement databases too find out if anything else, including criminal activity exists on your identity.

You're also going to need the police report to contact the many and I mean many different agencies and organizations, including the Social Security Administration, The Federal Trade Commission, all of your financial institutions, the 3 major credit bureaus, the Passport Office, The Department of Motor Vehicles, the Post Office, as well as the Medical Information Bureau . All of these places must be sent a fraud notification alert. Concerning your financial institutions, get them to cancel your credit cards and close your bank accounts. Find out from your bank about any suspicious activity, such as accounts tampered with or opened fraudulently. Reopen new bank accounts with password verification.

Know your rights. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act of 1992, you must be told not only what's in your file but if that information is being used against you. The Federal Trade Commission recently expanded the rights available to victims of identity theft, including your right to get negative information due to fraud blocked from your records.

This brings us to the credit bureaus. Make sure your credit report reflects the identity theft and gets flagged with a fraud alert. Many victims have received assurances that the matter would be resolved, however months and sometimes years later, the credit bureaus have not cleared their records. This without a doubt ranks as THE biggest headache for identity theft victims.

Once a negative gets put on your record, it seems the credit bureaus refuse to remove it, in spite of the countless documentation you provide to them. This can affect you well into the future when buying a house, car or any other big ticket item. If you are going to do this by yourself, constant follow up is critical. That goes for all the organizations but especially the credit bureaus. Be diligent until the matter gets resolved. Getting a lawyer wouldn't be a bad idea.

Stay Away from "credit repair companies". No matter what they advertise, there's usually nothing they can do to help you with identity theft. Some of them even offer to help you apply for credit under a new identity. Hello? When trying to eliminate fraud from your record you don't want to create more fraud!

Advise the utility companies. It's not just bank accounts and credit cards. Many identity thieves commit fraud by opening telephone accounts, purchasing cable television or establishing credit with the gas & electric companies, in the hopes it will go unnoticed for as long as possible.

If necessary get counseling. Identity theft can be a shattering experience mentally and emotionally. Victims and family members often feel violated. It's not their fault of course but the feelings remain. A network of support groups and counselors exists if you need it.

The road back from identity theft can take years, cost a lot of money, and cause much stress and pain . But with follow up, support and belief that the nightmare will end...the nightmare WILL end.

Proper bra sizing what every woman should know

Most women do not wear the correct bra size. With monthly water retention cycles, dieting, and general aging, it also should not be assumed that the size you were two years ago is the same size you are today (or that a bra can be worn that long, for that matter). Even a change of 5 pounds can change your bra size. This guide will help you to properly measure your bust, so that you can find the size for you.

While most shops will have a salesperson to assist you in proper measurements, in order to buy sexy lingerie from a catalog, it is important to know your size.

How To Know If Your Current Bra Does Not Fit

The back rides up. This may mean that the cups are too small, or the band is too tight. The front of the band is too tight to get a finger under it. This means you need a larger band.

The bra cups should be entirely filled, or you may need a smaller cup. If, on the other hand, the cups are overflowing, you may need a larger cup or a different style of bra.

If the underwire digs in, you may need a larger cup size. (Or your bra could just be very old. In either case, it's time to replace it.) This could also be an indication that the side wings of the bra are not large enough.

Proper Measurements

First, you will need three measurements: under bust, upper bust, and full bust.

For under the bust, measure directly under your bust. With all measurements, hold the tape secure but not too tight. For the upper bust, measure above the bust and below the arms.

If the difference between the under and upper bust is less than two inches, the under bust is your band size (round up to nearest even number). If the difference is more than two inches, add 2-3" to the under bust measurement to get an even number and use this as your band size. For the full bust, measure around a fullest part of your breast. Make sure the tape is secure around the back.

Your cup size is determined by your full bust measurement - your upper bust measurement. If the difference is less than 1", you are a AA, 1" is an A, 2" is a B, 3" is a C, 4" is a D, 5" is a DD (or an E), etc.

Beyond Measurements

Of course, your measurements are just the beginning. There are other things to keep in mind when looking for a comfortable, yet sexy bra.

When trying on different bras, make sure that the area in between the two cups actually comes into contact with your chest. Do not make the straps support your breast alone! This will be very uncomfortable over long periods of time, the bra will wear out quickly, and the pressure on the straps can cause back problems.

If you are finding the band sizes to differ for a different brand, you may also need to change your cup size. Generally, as you decrease the band size, you will need to increase your cup size, while a larger band will call for a smaller cup.

Bra Styles

Different styles of bras have different fits. Beware the convertible bras: while they may sometimes work, it is rare that every possible style will work for your body.

Full Cup / Full Coverage - Designed for support, these bras cover the entire breast.

Half Cup / Demi Cup - These bras cover 75 percent of the breast. This is a sexy cut that increases cleavage, but make sure your breasts are not "cut-off" in the center. Your profile should still be smooth, and if it isn't, you need a larger cup size.

Underwire Bras - These bras give the most support.

Racerback Bras - These bras have a crossover pattern in the back. They can have a front or back clasp, or can simply pull over the head. This is a common style for a sports bra.

Halter-Top Bras - As the name imply, these bras have a strap that loops around the neck, rather than the usual shoulder straps. These bras can increase cleavage, and can be worn with both halter tops and tops with low center coverage.

Backless Bras - While some backless bras literally have only front coverage, generally this refers to bras with extremely low backs, so that many dresses with low backs can be worn without the bra showing.

Strapless Bras - These bras have no straps at all, only the band. Some of these can cover the stomach area as well, and some even cover the body like a leotard. These longer strapless bras tend to stay in place better.

Padded Bras / Push-Up Bras - These bras have extra padding in the cups in order to give the illusion of a larger breast and/or to increase the cleavage. The padding can be made of the same material as the bra, foam, or gel. Gel is becoming more popular because of its more natural look. In some bras, the padding is removable.

Dйcolletй - These bras are lower cut than a demi bra, allowing you to wear something even lower cut without revealing your bra.

Light-Support Bras - These bras have no underwire. While you may be tempted to wear one to an all-day event, if you are larger than an A cup, you may not be getting the support you need. A properly fitted bra will be comfortable whether or not it has underwire.

Sports Bra - These bras are designed to minimize bouncing during athletic activity. While some inexpensive varieties do this by squishing your breasts, it is better to find on that is sized by cup sizes (as opposed to small, medium, and large) and get fitted as you would with a regular bra. Over the long term, this will increase your comfort.

Nursing Bras - For the convenience of nursing mothers, these bras have a snap on each of the shoulder straps, so she can easily remove them to feed the baby without taking off the entire bra. Generally, nursing bras are full-coverage for the added support a new mother needs.

Now you can order all your intimate apparel with confidence! So next time you find the perfect little black dress, you can be sure you will look your best

Things you should know when camping

So, everything’s ready for your first camping trip, eh? Everything on your checklist has been prepared and you’ve already practiced with your camping equipment. The food, the drinks, even the first-aid kit is stocked. You’re set and raring to go! Well, congratulations on being well-prepared. You’ve come a long way indeed. But you still have to know a few important things before running off into the wilderness and plunking down that tent. Here are a few things that a first-time camper should know about.

Camping means working too, not just playing. Even if you really, really want to get away from it all, there are some things that you just can’t possibly avoid, like chores. When you go camping, you still have to do some of them. Picking out a good campsite, setting up your tent, unpacking your gear; these all entails some work on your part. Not to mention starting a fire, cooking, washing dishes, and cleaning up your trash.

Something will bug you. Right here and now, let’s make one thing perfectly clear. If you stay outdoors, you’ll meet bugs and insects of all shapes and sizes. There may be only a few, or there may be quite a lot, but be certain that you’re going to be bugged. What to do? Keep your campsite clean and tidy. Soda cans, food scraps, pieces of chips and cookie bits; they all attract insects, so make sure you gather and dispose your trash daily. Never eat inside your tent and don’t leave food lying around.

Don’t wear perfumes and colognes outdoors, too. They can and will attract insects. If you must, use unscented deodorant. Remember that lanterns and bright lights are like lighthouses to bugs, so if you have one, put it in a spot far away from your sitting area. Always bring along plenty of insect repellants.

Wet mornings are unavoidable. Even if it wasn’t raining the whole day or last night, chances are everything will be soaked by the time you wake up. That’s because of dew. Warm weather, coupled with high humidity, makes for an ideal environment for morning dew. This is a fact of nature and just cannot be avoided, so the next best thing you can do is to take down any dry or about-to-dry clothes off the clothesline, and cover anything you don’t want to get wet, preferably with a tarp, just before setting down for the night.

Waste not. Trash can really pile up at your campsite at a rate you wouldn’t believe, especially if you’re new to this. So you better bring along plenty of plastic bags to dispose them with. Use the campground’s garbage disposal areas for this. Avoid burning your trash in the campfire at all costs. If you’re fishing, don’t clean the fish at the campsite, too.

Never a good night’s sleep. Right now is a good time to tell you that no matter how comfy and warm and soft is your sleeping bag or air mattress, you’ll probably never sleep as good as you do when you’re at home. To make the best out of it, bring some sleeping pads along with your bag, as they add much-needed cushioning and insulation from the cold ground. They can also add more cushioning, which should make your sleep more comfortable.

Wood from the forest – not for campfires. Picking up wood that’s lying around your campsite and using it to build a campfire is not allowed. Why? This wood is essential in replenishing the nutrients in the ground for the plants and trees. So you can think of it this way: If every camper got wood from the forest for their fires, soon there would be no forest!

The importance of innovation

A regular and repeated argument in commercial circles is the one that debates the order of importance between the factory floor producing the product and the sales team ensuring that it finds its place in the market. While the latter ensures the generation of essential income to fuel and grow the company, without something to sell they wouldn’t even have a job let alone the commodity with which to generate sales. A regular chicken and egg debate if ever there was one – or is it?

To my mind both camps are eligible for the title of “most important” for this platitude must surely belong to another group even further back along the chain, the “innovator”. For without the guy who dreams up the product in the first place there is neither need for production or sale of the same. So, surely, it is the inventor, the ideas man, the designer who has first claim to assuring the success of any corporation regardless of its size or market influence.

How many factories exist now thanks to that Eureka moment of the innovator who sits up in bed at three in the morning armed with a thought that could change the World, or at least influence a small part of what we require to make it a progressive place within which to live?

The truth is we all need each other to complete a productive circle that involves many essential contributors to making an idea a commercial viability. To my mind there should be a much easier line of communication between industry and innovator than there would appear to be.

How many thousands of “would-be inventors” are there out there with ideas they have devoted their lives to but find it almost impossible to find commercial interest for, to aid or further their development. Most have no idea where to start when it comes to presenting an idea or even what rules apply to ensuring that their “genius” is not misguided. Organisations exist who are supposed to help but even they can be hard to find if unfamiliar with the territory.

Innovators are therefore left to find whatever route they can to reach a possible “buyer” for their idea. Many are not interested in producing the product themselves or getting over involved in it’s marketing, they are happy to leave that to the experts, leaving them, the creatives, free to continue further product development and the conception of new ideas.

One such link opportunity exists through a marvellous new website called DebutDay. Com An exciting new conduit and notice board that aims to connect the creative with the commercial world. To date innovators have relied on letter writing, agents, local development agencies etc to reach their goal. More recently innovators are falling “victim” to the audience hunting TV predators with programmes such as “ The Dragons Den”, “The Big Idea” etc who essentially use the novelty of the innovator as an ingredient for entertainment.

Often preying on the inventors need to win the Ј100,000 prize that may or may not actually help them towards fulfilling their dream. For every idea that is deemed praise worthy enough to progress forward there are many others who are left behind, often ridiculed in the process.

This is not honest assistance for creative people and does little more than mock their ingenuity and genuine dedication to what they believe in. The result of which is that, in my opinion, many will leave the experience more damaged than before they took part.

DebutDay. com does not judge or ridicule, it does not exclude or filter people out, nor does it offer preferential treatment. It is simply an equal opportunity facility for everyone to use as a way to say “Here I am and this is what I can do” thus ensuring all who access it are able to conduct their own development in a fair and dignified manner. So much more wholesome than the speculative route offered by “Game Shows”.

So, power to the innovator and all creatives. They are amongst the most important people on the planet who between them generate all the things we come to covet or depend on. That service is something that is greatly overlooked and under valued.

It is now time to give some new power back to them in order that they may have a greater chance of seeing their dreams fully realised. Maybe they should all take a look at DebutDay. com?

Fishing forum the fishing connection that enlightens pros and the novice

Why do fishermen catch fish and I come home empty handed? What do the fishing guides do to help insure success for a paying client? Fishing a new location while on vacation can be very difficult. Locations, baits, and gear are number one questions. Time of year affects fishing success. These questions are but a few answered at the fisherman’s second most favorite fishing destination…

Capt. Fisherall has made his weekly announcements on the fishing forum with little to no complaints. His reports always give the daily fishing conditions, including the fish caught and the bait and tackle used. Although he doesn’t give away his favorite GPS fishing locations, a fisherman could emulate his prescription and expect moderate success. Capt. Fisherall usually spices his electronic exchange up with a good ole fishing story and ends with an invitation to “Come fish on the USS We Use Tourist For Bait”. The fishing forum Webmaster doesn’t see any harm done, and Capt. Fisherall is welcomed and expected each week. Some newbie forum users chastise the exploitation of their chat sanctum while the Pros cheer him on and take notes furiously.

A totally new visitor pops a question “Can anyone tell me how to catch trout?” Well the forum has its’ seasoned granddads and smart-alecks who gently guide this fishing prospect through the paces of landing his first fish. The fishing forum has a general store atmosphere where the fire is warm all winter and the chin chatter is thin while the fisherman plies his art.

A new carp bait recipe has surfaced and a bass boat and trailer needs a new home, desperately.

Another fishing video is for sale.

Check out the wintertime catfish fishing techniques on Cedar Lake.

The third week of May the lake is “turning over” and the sand bass are literally jumping into the boat chasing shad!

Coho are showing up just a mile off Noyes Island.

If the subject is of interest to fishermen it is listed on the fishing forum. The mix is: fishing reports, classifieds, bulletin board, how to tutors, and a camaraderie that is what makes fishermen around the world immune the language barriers.

The fishing forum has its’ regulars like Capt. Fisherall, fishing professionals, novices and granddads all with a mindset to learn as much as they teach. The best unbiased fishing gear reviews are recorded without fanfare or solicitation on the fishing forum. New ways to tie knots and different types of fishing line together are shared without more than a “thank you.”

The fishing family gathered at the fishing forum are well known to each other by their hand chosen “handles”. Capt. Fisherall could actually be Capt. Jerry, and the USS Dancer is probably the real name of the USS We Use Tourist For Bait, or not…

The fishing forum buddies may not ever meet on the same streambed or pass each other on the starboard side, but on a regular basis they hail each other on their second most favorite fishing spot, … the fishing forum!

H-f-l-team working moms home business

Do you remember all of those slogans form the 60's and 70's about women?

"A woman's place is in the house and senate"

"Women, you can have it all!"

"I can bring home the bacon and fry it up in a pan"

My Mom did not "work". She stayed home all day and

Cleaned House

Cooked

Shopped

Drove us to different sports events

Coached

Raised kids/encouraged, disciplined, taught, mended injuries exc.

Did laundry

Handled household budget and finances

Okay she had at least 10 jobs long hours no pay. No wonder women wanted out of the house!

But what they found is that not only were they now working outside of the home all that work at home didn't go away.

Women friends of mine that worked outside of the home found themselves spending almost all they earned was going to day care, commuting expenses "gas, parking, maintenance " and wardrobe.

The biggest complaint was they had no time to spend with their kids. They were asking themselves "Why did I have kids if I am going to turnover raising them to a stranger making minimum wage?"

As a man and father I could not fully understand how they felt, but I know it troubled them deeply. I was fortunate that I was a firefighter and with my schedule I was able to help raise my daughter and help with a lot of the household responsibilities. I found out first hand what "moms work" is and it was intense!

What's the answer?

I wish I could that the credit for this brilliant idea, but no. Work form home online. It can be the answers to many stay at home work at home needs.

The computer and internet can provide stay at home moms with numerous options. Your passions, ideas, and creativity can all be funneled into your home business.

I met a stay at home mom that lives in my building. I would see her out with her baby in one of those "jogger strollers" and she would have one or two dogs with her. But I noticed that they were different dogs at different times. I stopped and talked to her at the mailbox and asked her about the number of dogs she has. She laughed and told me that they're not all hers.

She went on to say that she is a stay at home mom, and her husband works a regular 8 to 5. She is working on getting her home business up and running and that she walks dogs for people in the building. She stated that they pay her $25.00 to walk them that is about $50.00 to $75.00 a day!

Wow the entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well in that home!

So she is getting her home business going, earning cash with the dog walking, spending time with her child and getting her exercise. She is also planning to home school her child. She has it figured out.

What can you do?

Follow my neighbors' model.

Get that home business started. Find other sources of income from the home while it is building. Ask yourself what are you good at, trained in or educated in. What needs do other people have that you can fill. Then apply that to your stay at home strategy.

Take confidence in the fact that you are not the first women to work from home. Women have been doing it for a very long time.

I check out some Bible verses and found many about working women. Here are a few that I found.

Proverbs 31:14-18

14 She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar.

15 She gets up while it is still dark; she provides food for her family and portions for her servant girls.

16 She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.

17 She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks.

18 She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night.

You see you're in good company. Now go out and start fulfilling your Hundred-Fold-Life.

Eliminate the woes of surprise home repairs

Few things are more disruptive and frustrating than unexpected home repairs. And when they occur, they can be budget-busters.

From water heaters to air conditioners to dishwashers, homeowners spend hundreds of dollars annually to maintain and repair their home's systems and appliances. When major systems fail, expenses are even greater, averaging more than $1,000 in repairs, according to experts.

The good news is, there's a practical and affordable solution to the surprise costs and hassles when home systems and appliances break: a home warranty. Home warranties cover these major breakdowns, and often for less than $500 per year.

More and more homeowners are discovering home warranties. According to recent findings, nearly 72 percent of real estate professionals nationally recommend home warranties to their clients and 90 percent of California real estate transactions close with one.

But cost isn't the only factor driving their popularity; questionable contractors are playing a role, too. When heating systems go haywire or the refrigerator loses its cool, most homeowners prefer to have someone else do the work. Trouble is, finding qualified technicians quickly is no easy task, compounding many homeowners' frustrations.

Poor quality of work, disreputable contractors and work not complying with local codes are growing concerns among homeowners searching for contractors.

Fortunately, home warranties can ensure help from a qualified technician in a timely manner. In fact, American Home Shield works with a network of 11,000 authorized contractors who promise to visit homeowners within two business days.

To ensure that homeowners receive the best possible service, American Home Shield continually evaluates its contractors on quality, cost and professionalism by surveying homeowners. Contractors with the highest survey rankings receive more work, while those with poor performances are removed from its network.

In the past year, American Home Shield covered more than 1.2 million homes' systems and appliances with its warranties and performed more than 2.3 million service calls nationwide.

Internet marketing - the vital ingredient

:
Having created a wonderful website in order to sell your product, you now need the means to entice your visitors to actually buy. For this, you need two vital things. Firstly, you need to capture the names and email addresses of visitors to your website and, secondly, you need to be able to communicate with them. Make sure you have a mechanism in place for this before you start promoting anything online.

Research has shown that it takes 7 visits to your sites, or communications with, a potential customer before they will be tempted to buy something from you. Without the means to do this, you will have missed a golden opportunity to make money. Building up a mailing list is vital to your new business.

The essential tool required is an autoresponder. The autoresponder will capture names and email addresses from your website (the start of your mailing list) and then allow you to send targeted emails out to those people. It manages your database of potential customers. A section on the autoresponder can generate the HTML code for a sign-up form to place on your website, which then directs those visitors’ names and email addresses to a particular campaign in your autoresponder. You can have several campaigns running at the same time if you wish.

But, you may ask, who would just give you their name and email address? By giving away something free and of value on your website, such as a report, eBook, or mini-course, people will be tempted to subscribe. Giving away free information really works.

Within your autoresponder, you can set up pre-programmed messages to send to your potential customer, such as an initial and instant message and a link to a page where they can download their free report or get more information. Then follow up with further email messages with extra and more persuasive information at different intervals, 2 days later perhaps, then 5 days after that, and so on, and all will be dispatched automatically by your autoresponder.

In this way, you can send out emails for a planned marketing campaign to entice them to buy your product. And because your customers have voluntarily signed up, your emails will not be considered as spam, but value their privacy and don’t pass their names and addresses to anyone else.

As you build up your mailing list of names and email addresses from your website visitors, and the number grows, why not send out a broadcast email from your autoresponder when you release a new product? Many of those who bought your first product may well buy from you again. You can sell to your list over and over again, but don’t overdo the frequency, and give enough of an interval between products, otherwise you will turn your customers off!

Alternatively, you may like to send your mailing list a regular newsletter of interesting snippets of information – this is also possible with your autoresponder.

One tip: if you can pay for an autoresponder service, all the better. The free ones tends to place adverts on the messages you send out, which may not look professional to your customer.

So for real and profitable success in your Internet Marketing business, get yourself an autoresponder and subsequently a mailing list. It’s your vital ingredient! Good luck!

No faxing cash advance loans understanding late fees and interest rates

Cash advance loans get money in your hands in a matter of hours for those financial emergencies. With no faxing of documents, the application process takes less than five minutes. And with no credit check, approvals happen in no time.

To find the best deal on a payday loan, understand late fees and interest rates. Then ask about them before signing up with a lender.

How Cash Advance Companies Charge Their Fees

Cash advance loans are designed for a matter of weeks, so lenders charge a flat fee rather than an interest rate. Most lenders post their fees as so much to borrow a hundred dollars. On average, financing fees are about 15% or $15 for every $100 borrowed.

If you can’t repay the loan, then just the financing fee is due. For another financing fee, your loan term can be extended. Many states have limitations on often you can refinance your loan. After three times, most lenders will create a payment schedule for you.

The Trap Of Late Fees

Payday loan companies deduct your payment from your checking account. So if there are no funds available, you will be charged a large late fee. Your bank will also charge you a NSF fee. It is very easy to rack up over a hundred dollars in late fees.

If you have outstanding checks, you won’t be able to get a payday loan. But cash advance companies are willing to renegotiate your loan terms before they are late. Before your payment is due, make arrangements with your lender if you are short of funds.

And Then There Are Interest Rates

Most payday loan lenders post an interest rate in compliance with federal law. This rate is the APR, or what the loan would cost for an entire year. While this number can help you make comparisons between different types of credits, it isn’t the flat fee number for a two week loan.

APR rates, financing fees, and late charges vary with different lenders. You can save yourself money by researching fees. Lenders have to disclose loan costs before you sign a contract, so request them before applying.

St. louis schools seek accreditation

Every year the North Central Association evaluates Several St. Louis Schools seeking accreditation. The goal for the organization is to assist St. Louis Public Schools in developing and demonstrating effective curriculums. The process also keeps transient students in the St. Louis Schools up to date with their work. Family relocation is the most common cause of drastically falling grades in the St. Louis Schools. Accredited schools are better able to tackle this problem because they all share a consistent curriculum. So when children move from one school to another, they haven’t lost as much ground.

How important is accreditation to the St. Louis Public Schools? Is it a valid mark of achievement, or just a political rating? While people argue both sides, the truth is that we need consistency in the St. Louis Schools and public education overall. OK - some schools that are improving will complain that they didn’t have enough time, money, or something else. And that may be true. But filtering struggling and failing schools out of the St. Louis Schools is the only way to improve the district.

A uniform curriculum has benefits to almost everyone in the system. Students coming from St. Louis Schools entering colleges will be better apt to succeed from the beginning. Professors will know what to expect from students coming from St. Louis Schools. Knowing the level of work achieved at St. Louis Schools assists these professors in planning their curriculum. This gives college professors the advantage to prepare incoming college students at higher paces and levels. This is more beneficial to everyone rather than having to design a course route that is generally vague and applies to anyone.

To earn accreditation, all St. Louis Schools have to meet high standards. This process is voluntary and optional to all St. Louis Schools. Since the process is voluntary, it ensures the success of St. Louis Schools incorporated into this organization. There are no laws mandating participation so teachers, students, and other faculty members take careful measure to ensure that achieved accreditation is held in a high and honorable regard. Some administrators say that if the process was involuntary, not all St. Louis Schools would see the importance of North Central Associations’ goals as they are meant to be expressed. Hmmm. But wouldn’t making it mandatory require everyone to see them as important?

Overall, the accreditation offered by North Central Association to St. Louis Schools is an improvement. It’s a starting ground for success by students and schools working together relocating children don’t struggle to adjust. The program also helps keep all the students working on similar goals, while setting their own pace. At some point the St. Louis Schools will need to make these policies mandatory. With stricter federal guidelines and pressure from parents and politicians, it’s just a matter of time.

Unique bar mitzvah gift ideas - forget the 36 check check out this bar

Unique Bar Mitzvah gift ideas can easily turn out to be embarrassing, ostentatious, or just plain ridiculous. While Uncle Lenny may have the best intentions in mind when he buys you 18 acres on Mars (18 of course representing the Hebrew word Chai - or "life" - in the Jewish tradition), there are far better unique Bar Mitzvah gift ideas out there.

Not all unique Bar Mitzvah gift ideas need to be sappy or silly. In fact, it can be fun, cute, and memorable to order up a personalized magazine cover for the newly minted 13 year old Jewish "adult."

You can be funny and pose a photo of the young adolescent on the cover along with headlines which speak to his prowess in sports, fondness for Harry Potter books, love of astronomy or what have you. Indeed, you can shape his "magazine destiny" as it were any way you see fit. Turn him into a homerun slugger, a National Geographic explorer, a brilliant academician, or a glamorous Hollywood actor.

You could also turn the tables and offer up the personalized magazine cover as a party favor to friends and relatives who make it to the Bar Mitzvah party. Be aware that you shouldn't make your magazine cover too embarrassing or revealing - some good-natured ribbing is fine, but be aware of the 13 year old's temperament and consult the parents if you think your humorous riffing may be headed "too far."

In short, you can tune your magazine cover Bar Mitzvah gift idea to the mood of the occasion and create a fun, unique, family-oriented gift that's sure to be remembered and treasured - and hopefully displayed fondly for years to come.

Thinking of abandoning your Chai check for a cool and classy personalized Bar Mitzvah magazine cover? Head to YourCover. com right now to get started.

Botswana casinos

Botswana is one of Africa's success stories; a country of diverse natural habitats, generous resources, and a fast-growing tourist sector, attracted by its proximity to South Africa and also by its superb game reserves and national parks. Botswana casinos are a growing sector of the economy, and casinos have sprung up in several cities in the country, including the capital, Gaborone, and the northern capital, Francistown. Consequently, the Botswana government has taken great steps to ensure that the development of Botswana casinos continues in line with the growing numbers of foreign visitors.

Francistown is the largest city in northern Botswana and also home to two casinos, the Marang Hotel, and the Admiral at the Thapama Hotel. The city was the site of southern Africa's first "gold rush" in the mid 19th century, which brought people in from all over the globe in search of their fortune. Unfortunately for them, the gold proved difficult and costly to mine, and most of the mining operations fell into disuse, though a few remain. Nowadays, the casinos of Francistown provide visitors with the chance to strike it lucky; there is still gold here, if only you are fortunate enough to find it!

Apart from Francistown, the other main center for Botswana casinos is the capital, Gaborone. This is home to Botswana's largest casinos, the Grand Palm Hotel Casino Resort, which has 17 table games and over 250 slots and video gaming machines, the Gaborone Sun Casino, which is the oldest and biggest casino in Botswana, as well as a new development at the Gaborone Hotel. As a result, the capital is making a bid to attract some of the gambling business away from its northern rival, and make itself a valuable stopover for foreign visitors on the way to the national parks of Chobe and Okavango in the north of Botswana, which are the country's prime tourist attractions at present.

Africans love gambling, and Botswana casinos are set up to appeal to locals as well as visitors from abroad. Recognizing this, the government has been careful not to overburden the Botswana casino industry with regulations and red tape, although the industry is obviously carefully scrutinized to ensure that it maintains the highest standards of probity. Accordingly, the Botswana casino sector continues to expand to meet the demand of visitors from far and wide, eager to find their fortune, like the prospectors of old.

Anxiety symptoms what anxiety is and what its symptoms are

First of all, before we start to describe what the symptoms of anxiety are, let’s first establish what anxiety is and its purpose. Anxiety is a survival mechanism. It exists to remove any perceived danger from our environment by either fighting it or running away from it.

A few thousand years ago, when man was a hunter-gatherer searching for food in the great outdoors, anxiety played a very important role in preventing our ancestor from becoming some animal’s next meal. If and when confronted by some ferocious beast, anxiety would come into play and give our great, great, great etc. grandparent the wherewithal to either stand and fight the threat or to run away to some safe haven.

In order for this fight or flight mechanism to be effective, certain physiological and psychological changes are temporarily made. These are as follows:

1. Body hair stands on end to give an overall appearance of being bigger.

2. Sweating starts to occur in the hands and feet to enable a better grip whilst running and/or climbing.

3. Adrenalin is released into the bloodstream to give an all-important boost of energy.

4. The body’s normal functions of digestion and cell repair are put on hold and the resources are re-directed to the muscles to enhance strength.

5. Under extreme conditions, the body will excrete in order to reduce weight.

6. Normal breathing is replaced by much shallower breathing and the heart rate increases.

7. Both sight and hearing are heightened.

8. Psychologically, there will be a feeling of discomfort and agitation. This will increase as necessary in order to initialise some sort of action.

So, looking at the above example of our stone-age hunter, we can clearly see that anxiety was indeed a very necessary part of their day-to-day life and no doubt it was instrumental in saving quite a few lives at that stage in our evolution.

But, how on earth can such a mechanism be useful to us in our current society? In certain situations, such as when the job that you’re working on is quickly running out of time, anxiety will help you to focus better by increasing your sight and hearing perceptions and the adrenalin will give you more energy to complete the task. I seriously doubt, though, that such a low level of anxiety would cause involuntary excretion.

However, there are other situations where anxiety rears its head and it isn’t appropriate. Imagine that you’re late for work and that you’re stuck in traffic. No matter how anxious you feel the traffic won’t flow any quicker and as for running away from or fighting the perceived threat that would be impossible.

It’s situations similar to the latter that can bring about anxiety disorders in certain individuals. I know, I used to suffer from an anxiety disorder along with panic disorder and agoraphobia for many years. Until, after many years of searching, I found the cure.

Seo - five seo do s

Whether your web site is big or small there are five basic things that are must do’s when it comes to search engine optimizing your website.

The first key thing is to take the time to do a careful search of all of your keywords and key phrases and make sure that they really do relate to what you are selling. Use a good program like Wordtracker or hire someone to do professional keyword research as not knowing your keywords is like driving blind in the dark.

Make sure you write a short descriptive title tag of what each page of your site is all about before you submit it to the search engines. This information can also help the users that are searching for you locate you easily. ” Avoid the temptation of creating title tags that are longer than 30 characters maximum, since they might have a dilution effect in your rankings of certain search engines.

Make sure that the main text on your web page is the same as the keywords contained in your title tag. This is so that the search engines have something to hook into when they search your site. Try and repeat these keywords two to three times in the main body of the text without sounding repetitive it.

Add a sitemap to you r site as that assists both the search engines and users in assessing your pages. It also helps Google properly index your site.

Another tip is to make sure that your site is enrolled in some kind of link popularity program. Increasing the number of links that point to your site will boost you in the results pages. You should only link to sites that have similar themes to your site, and stay away from bad “neighborhoods” or from so-called link farms or FFA sites.

Getting the right office furniture for computing

Having the right furniture in your office can not only help you to be more productive, but it can also provide the correct support for your body as well, especially if you spend a good majority of your time in front of the computer. And whether you’re at home or the office, you most likely know that there are proper and improper methods and heights for sitting while you work. But did you also know that the wrong office furniture can lead to Repetitive Stress Injuries that include chronic back and neck pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, eye strain and a variety of other health problems? Let’s take a look at the best methods for avoiding these issues.

Chairs

Sitting in an ergonomically correct chair is one of the best things you can do for yourself. The right chair should be easily adjustable to provide proper support for the small of your back and your lumbar curve overall. It should also be ‘user friendly’ so as to fit well with your body type. And when sitting, your feet should be comfortably flat on the floor or on a footrest in front of you.

Desk

Whether your keyboard sits on top of your desk or on a pull-out keyboard tray underneath it (which is actually the recommendation), it should be a comfortable level of between 27 and 29 inches from the floor depending on how tall you are. There should be sufficient distance between your shoulders and the keyboard so as to prevent any stress or strain in that area, as well as in your elbows and wrists as you type.

Lighting

The lighting you choose can greatly affect the quality the work you produce. The computer screen is quite bright in itself and adding even more intensity to that with the wrong lighting can cause headaches as well as eye strain. A good idea is to utilize a lamp that has a dimmer mechanism so that you can adjust it to your personal preference.

And don’t forget to take regular breaks from the computer! Sometimes we get so caught up in what we’re working on that we forget to do this. But getting up and stretching your back and muscles as well as giving your eyes a rest will greatly help you in the long run.

Sending passwords by email

It amazes me how many sites allow you to register, and then send you an e-mail to your registered address containing your password in plain-text. There is never a warning stating that the site will email the password you use, for all to see.

Sending passwords by e-mail works when you forget a password. The site changes it and e-mails you the new one, which you then use to log in and change it to something else. The e-mailed password is not active for very long, and it isn’t something you chose.

Sending you your own password, either in a welcome e-mail once you register, or as a response to a “forgot password” request is bad security. Really bad security.

Compounding this is the fact that e-mail providers such as Google Gmail state in their privacy policy that “deleted” e-mail may be kept indefinitely on their backup servers. As soon as someone e-mails you your password in plain-text, to a Gmail account, Google are likely to have that archived forever.

You can’t tell whether a site is going to do to this, so it isn’t possible to use a “less sensitive” password for sites which will e-mail your password back to you. If you have groups of passwords; one for sites you use to pay for things, one for forums, one for other less important sites, for instance, then you may enter your “usual” password without realising it may be compromised by being sent in an e-mail, visible to anyone along the way that wants to read it.

Sites should seriously consider the security implications of sending passwords by e-mail, especially if there is no prior warning that this will happen!

The hard task of coming up with a fundraising idea

When trying to get a fundraiser set up probably the hardest decision you will encounter is trying to decide which fundraising idea will work best for you. Choosing a fundraising idea is not as easy as one may think with the variety of ideas available. Many companies do business supply products as fundraising ideas for various organizations. Not only will you have to decide which product to sell, but you have to choose one of the many ways to conduct fundraising.

Some of the fund raising ideas for the product itself range from chocolates, cookies, candy, pet supplies, magnets, candles, books, posters, and the list goes on. Your next step will be deciding how you are going to get these products to the people. Maybe your fundraising idea will be to sell from door to door. This has the advantage of talking to the people face to face about your fundraising, but be prepared that everyone you talk to will not welcome you with open arms and will close the door in your face.

Another fundraising idea you have is direct mail. This is not by selling a product, but by asking directly for donations. It can be a bit costly because letters have to be made up. To have these done properly, they should be done by a marketing firm, which can cost you more than you anticipated. This fundraiser idea will have to have self addressed envelopes included for donors to respond, and there is really no way of telling how much money your fund raising will solicit from the donors out there.

Out of all the fund raising ideas that are out there the donation boxes as got to be among the easiest and the cheapest way to coordinate a fund raiser. This is where you place containers in the businesses around town. These boxes are usually clear with the group’s name printed clearly on the container. Be prepared though, the drawback for this fundraising idea is that the boxes fill up very slowly and you can’t depend on this for your whole fund raising. This fundraising idea is a supplement for other fund raising ideas.

Another way to make a fundraising idea work is to team up with other groups. In this way you have all the fundraising help you need and the results can really pay off. Combining schools and churches for instance can make a very successful fund raiser. There are many more fundraiser ideas that you can explore. It is you that will have to decide which fundraiser ideas will work best for you and your cause.

There are lots of fundraising ideas, but you have to know what you need, plan it and do it well for it to succeed.

Get credit for making smart financial decisions

You're faced with a dilemma. It's the end of the month and you have a stack of bills due. You were hoping to go on a special weekend getaway with friends, but don't have the money to pay all your bills and enjoy the trip. You realize something has got to give, so you decide to skip a payment on your credit card to have money for the weekend. It's only 30 days, you say to yourself, and you plan to really get serious about paying down your bills after this month.

That decision could cost you thousands of dollars.

"Making late payments is really the number-one way that consumers can damage their credit report and credit score," says Chaomei Chen, head of credit risk for the credit card division of Seattle-based Washington Mutual. "Conversely, making on-time payments is the easiest way to increase a consumer's credit score over time."

Keeping Score On Your Credit Score

Credit scores are derived from information found in your credit reports, which are maintained independently by each of the three major bureaus-TransUnion, Equifax and Experian. The data is run through a mathematical formula to produce your "FICO" score. Fair Isaac Corporation (FICO) invented and popularized the methodology for determining consumer credit risk. Most FICO scores run between 300 and 850. The higher the score, the better, because consumers with high scores are offered the lowest interest rates for homes, automobiles and other consumer loans.

Even One Late Payment Can Hurt

Chen pointed out that only one late credit card payment could have a negligible effect on the score of consumers who already have a dramatically low FICO score, and conversely could drop the FICO scores of people who already have very high FICO scores up to 100 points. "That difference in FICO score can add many thousands of dollars in interest payments over the life of a loan. It's in the consumer's best interest to pay bills on time each and every month."

According to Fair Isaac, for a $250,000 home loan, based on recent interest rates, a consumer with a 700 FICO score would have a monthly payment of $1,614 for a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage. A consumer with a 550 credit score would pay an estimated $2,094 a month for the same loan. That's a difference of $480 a month, and $173,000 in additional interest over the life of a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage.

That weekend getaway has become very costly.

In addition to paying bills promptly, Washington Mutual - the only credit card issuer in the U. S. that provides its credit card customers free online access to their FICO scores-recommends other simple ways to increase credit scores, including:

• Pay more than the minimum due on credit card accounts each month.

• Keep the balances on revolving credit accounts below 50% of the credit line.

• Check your credit report at least once per year to ensure that information is being correctly reported.

Don't be late in paying your bills. Even one late credit card payment can cause a credit score to fall up to 100 points.

Gift baskets a great way to celebrate easter

Easter is such a special time of year. I can recall fond memories of Easters past when my mother and father would hide brightly colored eggs in the yard and send my sisters and I out to find them. What joy we had running around the yard, looking in every nook and cranny for the eggs we had hand decorated together as a family. As I recall, whoever found the most always received a special gift, usually a dollar or two. That was a lot of money to us kids in those days. After the hunt, we would eat dinner together and then my parents would give each of us an Easter basket.

They were smart to make sure we had dinner first, knowing full well that we would never touch our food if we were given the baskets beforehand. I can still recall the happiness we shared, eating our chocolates, jelly beans, marshmallow candies and other sweet treats. I think I always enjoyed digging through the plastic green "grass" the most. It was like discovering gold to dig through the basket and find one of the last few treats which had fallen to the bottom.

Today, I get just as much enjoyment from watching my children having the same fun I had as a child. It's wonderful to view the next generation enjoying the traditions of the past that still remain so much part of our culture. Today, however, I give Easter gift baskets to my children, my siblings, and close friends every year at this time. They're wonderful for the kids and the adults all appreciate them as well since, like me, they remember the joy of getting an Easter basket. Easter gift baskets are filled with delectable treats that both children and adults can enjoy.

I order enough for my friends and family and my extended family as well since Easter gift baskets can be shipped anywhere. I find that they make a great gift for kids or for the kid in all of us. This year, I may even order one for myself. I may be older, but I still have a sweet tooth!

Zero down mortgage loans - is 100 financing a good idea and can you get approved

Are you wondering if you can get approved for a home loan with 100% financing? Are you also wondering if its a good idea to get a mortgage loan with no money down? Here are some points to keep in mind as you apply and consider your different mortgage loan options.

To qualify for 100% financing on a purchase mortgage loan, it would be important for you to have a credit score of at least 600 or higher. If you are between 600-650 on your credit rating, you may need to go through a subprime mortgage lender in order to get 100% financed.

If your credit score is higher than 650, you can probably apply with most mortgage lending companies online and be able to get an approval.

If your credit score is between 580-600, you will probably need at least 5% down to make the loan work with a subprime mortgage lender.

Getting a mortgage loan with 100% financing can sometimes mean a higher rate. Sometimes an alternative is to get an 80/20 loan, which is a first and second mortgage, with the first mortgage being at a lower rate and the second mortgage being at a higher interest rate. The benefit to doing this type of loan is that it eliminates the need for PMI insurance, which can be $100 or more a month, depending on the size of your loan.

Also, consider getting quotes for 100% financing and then quotes for 95% financing, with you putting 5% down. See, if the savings on the interest rate is worth putting the money down.

How can i stay motivated when it comes to home exercise

An exercise workout program is not going to be successful for anyone unless they can stay motivated and focused on their goal. Home exercise can be even more challenging than other types of available exercise because there are not as many factors inside the home to act in an encouraging manner for a person, which might help them to exercise and stay focused. As a result, while many people prefer working out in their own home for comfort reasons, they can find staying motivated in the actuality of this task to be more difficult. Here are some tips to help individuals stay committed to their exercise regiment and their weight-loss or muscle building goals.

Music is a great motivator. Sports teams play music in their locker rooms, during half-time shows or other game breaks and/or during events when specific players go up to perform in their games. Music is just as motivating for exercise enthusiasts as it is for professional players and training athletes. Most people prefer pulse-beating music while they exercise, but the favored or preferred music of the individual will most likely be the best music to which that person can work out. Taking your mind off the 'discomfort' of working your muscles and offering some great motivation, music is a great resource for individuals who want to exercise.

In many gyms today, individuals can find televisions. Most people have this amenity in their home as well. Television is another great way to distract the exerciser when they are performing an activity that does not require their immediate and constant attention. Such activities can include working out on an exercise bike, a total home gym apparatus, elliptical machine, stepper and/or the like. It passes the time and allows the individual to take part in a more 'pleasant' activity. At the same time, individuals can utilize the television in another way as well - as a way to play and watch exercise programs. DVDs and VCR cassettes have been designed for exercisers in order to help keep people motivated with a specific exercise program. If you need instruction to stay motivated and with a set timeframe for the program, the television and playable exercise programs can be a great help.

Exercising at home does not mean exercising alone. You can always bring a buddy to your house to exercise. Additional motivation can easily be found in an exercise partner and this is very reassuring to many people who want to stay focused, but who may not want to leave the comfort of their own home.

Lastly, consider visualization. It's easy to have a textual goal or a number in your mind. "I would like to lose twenty-five pounds". You might find yourself saying that over and over again in your mind, trying to convince yourself to stay focused. But this number repetition may not be the best thing for you. Instead, find a picture of yourself when you weighed your ideal weight. If you do not have a picture, try to visualize the way that your body would look if you lost that weight. Having a mental image can help you more than a simple number-filled phrase might.

What does it take to get a payday loan

If you have ever thought that you might need some emergency cash, then you have probably also thought about getting a payday loan. The ads are everywhere - in the mail and online. Now, though, you are wondering if it might be something you can get. Here is what you need to know about getting a payday loan.

One thing you will not need to get a payday loan is a good credit rating. It does not matter what your credit score is and they will not even check it. You could just have declared bankruptcy a week ago and it will not effect your ability to get a payday loan.

You will, however, need to be employed, and you will be required to have been there for at least three months. Besides this, there will also be an interest on how much you make each month - they will look for at least $1,000, possibly $1,500 per month. Your employer may be called to verify your employment there, or you will be asked to fax recent paystubs.

The amount of money that you can borrow will be determined by how much you make, and how many loans you have had. Many pay loan lenders will let you have the first loan for free - no interest. But, then, you may only be able to borrow up to $400, too. If you pay it off on time, then your credit limit may be raised - if your income will permit it.

After you fill in the application, and if they decide that your information looks good, the lender will usually call you. This will be to confirm information, or to request some more. You should be ready to provide more information in case it is requested.

You will also need to have an active checking account, too. This will need to have been active for at least three months, in most cases. If you are approved, you will then supply them your account information so they can put the money directly into your account. Also, you will need to approve a withdrawal on the day the loan is due. Getting the money is what it is all about. Depending on how soon you need it, it is possible to have it within 1 hour.

If, for some reason, you are not ready to make the payment when it is due, then you can roll the loan over. This will, however, require that you at least pay the interest on the payday loan. The same amount of interest will be charged again, and you will have to the following payday to pay the new loan. You will want to think seriously about that, though, because the interest on a payday loan can be rather high - as much as 30%.

As with any loan, you should shop around for the best deal. Some payday loan lenders will give you more time to repay it. Some will also let you make multiple payments, too - which makes it even much more convenient.

A beginners guide on how to paint a wall mural

Obviously the first thing you need to do is figure out what to paint on the wall. When I know what I want to paint, I typically follow that up by finding different representations, photos, drawings to use as a reference, or by going to a location to take some pictures that I can use as a model. For example, if I wanted to paint a seascape I might drive around the beach area where I look for objects or scenery I want to include in my painting. Most times I am piecing together a scene to create my mural.

Once you have what you need to put together your scene, painting the background first is essential. I start at the top and work my way down. So I lay down the sky first, then the horizon, where I may have mountains, trees, water or land. After I have my background in I will place my other objects, such as people, cars, roads or whatever the subject may be. Sometimes I hand paint in these objects and sometimes I may use a projector first to cast the image on the wall, trace it out and then hand paint it. A projector is very helpful to maintain the correct proportions and to help in placement of the object.

You may be wondering what medium to use on a wall. I use a mixture of acrylic paint that you can buy in any craft or art supply store and also latex paint that you would purchase by the gallon in a paint or hardware store. Both of these mediums dry quickly and clean up easily with water. Also, acrylic paint has no fumes so working with it will not bother you during the process. I typically purchase a gallon of extra bright white paint that I mix with the acrylic colors. This will stretch your dollar, because purchasing small tubes of acrylic paint alone can add up quickly especially if you are painting a large area.

Once you have finished your mural, I suggest painting a clear coat of polyeurothane over it to protect it. Look for a coating that will not yellow with age. The clear coating allows cleanup in case of dirt or fingerprints.

Abundance flourishes in an atmosphere of integrity

There's no way to fake INTEGRITY. You are either are IN INTEGRITY offering a PURE positive vibration which the Law of Attraction responds to. Or you're OUT of INTEGRITY which creates a negative or mixed vibration, which the Law of Attraction cannot ignore.

Here's a real-life story which demonstrates what happens to our vibration when we are out of INTEGRITY.

I was feeling pretty upbeat after our coaching session yesterday and really excited about winning a prize pack from the radio station.

After picking up my prize, I noticed Spyware, an electronics store, and decided to go in and compare prices with an item I had just bought from Radio Shack yesterday. Spyware had the exact same item on sale for $10.00 less so I bought it with the intention of returning the first item to Radio Shack. When I compared the two products they were exactly the same, with the exact same bar codes and packaging. However, I noticed the cheaper item had one wire a couple centimeters shorter than the more expensive item.

I made a decision to return the item with the shorter wire (the one purchased at Spyware) back to Radio Shack and keep the original item. Thus saving $10.00 but keeping the better product.

After the clerk had finished all the paperwork I felt extremely guilty. But then I rationalized it was too late to do anything about it and told myself I would just have to let this guilt go. What a way to bring my high vibration to a crashing halt. I reminded myself that this is why I shouldn't do things like this in the first place because not only can I not live with the guilt but now it is a double whammy because I'm so aware of my vibration and this is bringing it way down.

Anytime we do something that is not in alignment with our core values, we feel negative emotions which hinder us from receiving the real desires of our heart.

The antidote is simple: be honest, pay all debts, return what you've borrowed, speak kindly about others and keep your word. In other words, do nothing that will hinder the flow of pure positive energy toward you. Be true to your self an you'll open the way for receiving everything that will make you happy.

This same client had such an opportunity to 'make it right' on an energetic level. Again, she wrote:

I was feeling pretty bad when I returned to my office, and then remembered I needed to go to the bank. I went up to the bank machine and there was $40.00 sitting in the slot. Someone had forgotten to take it with them after they finished their transaction. They had also forgotten to take their bank slip. I took both out of the machine and put them in my pocket while I did my own banking.

Now I was dealing with the moral dilemma of what I should do with the found money. I so badly wanted to keep the money as I am heavily in debt with all my credit cards almost maxed out. I tried rationalizing: The bank slip doesn't have the account number on it so it's not like one can trace it but it did say that the person had a balance of $195.00 which isn't very much.

I remembered how I felt when I once left $20.00 in the bank machine myself and went back for it but it was gone.

I then decided to go into the bank and leave the $40.00 with a bank teller. While I was waiting in line, another lady came into the bank and told me I left my card in the bank machine so I went back to get it. Then she came back again saying now I'd left my bank slip in the machine. This is how frazzled I was!

Anyways, I gave the money to a bank teller with my business card and I am feeling much better.

I feel like the Universe gave me an opportunity not only to redeem myself but also an opportunity to change my vibration after something I've done in the past that I feel badly about.

Indeed! This client demonstrates the wonderful way the Law of Attraction works: Her dominant intention was to offer a high vibration so that she can attract more money and enjoy her life.

The Law of Attraction arranged an opportunity (the item from Radio Shack.) Her actions in the first opportunity caused her vibration to drop, which didn't feel good. So she RESET her intention to feel good, and the Law of Attraction sent her another opportunity to take actions that feel better.

Old locomotives

Locomotive number 60004 rolled out of Baldwin Locomotive Works (founded in 1831 by Matthias Baldwin) in May of 1927. She was the 13th 4-8-4 type locomotive built in America. The first twelve have all been scrapped, leaving only 3751 as the oldest 4-8-4 in existence.

Destined for the Santa Fe Railroad, she was a new design experience for both the builder and the operator. She was the first class of Santa Fe 4-8-4's (a 4-8-4 locomotive has four leading wheels arranged in a leading truck , eight coupled driving wheels and four trailing wheels in a trailing truck). Each costing $99,712.77 as delivered.

As originally built, 3751 was an innovation in design, with its 4-wheel trailing truck to support the 108 sq/ft firebox. The newly developed Type E super heater was applied. Included was a cast-steel engine bed and separate cast cylinders, with cross-counter balanced 73 inch drive wheels. The total engine weight was 432,240 lbs. The total engine-tender weight tipped the scales at 724,600 lbs. She had a starting tractive effort of 66,000 lbs, with a maximum drawbar horsepower of 3,200 at 40 mph.

Mechanical Engineer Lanning and his staff collaborated with Baldwin in the design of the 3765's, which were delivered between April and June 1938. For maximum speeds of 100 mph, 80-inch Baldwin disc-type driving wheels were specified. Cylinder dimensions were changed to 28 x 32 to eliminate the back pressure problems inherent in the 3751 design.

With the arrival of eleven new 3765 class 4-8-4's in 1938, Santa Fe decided to rebuild the 3751 class. The purpose was to upgrade the locomotive to equal the 3765 class if possible. This project began in October 1938 and culminated with the 3751 being completed in early 1941. Although due to larger drivers the original tractive effort of 66,000 lbs remained the same. The conversion did however allow for 90 miles per hour speeds and raised the horsepower to 3,600 at 50 mph. This major rebuilding was a success in producing a much more powerful and efficient locomotive. With the heavy wartime traffic commencing after December 7, 1941, Santa Fe attempted to obtain more motive power, both steam and diesel from the War Production Board, which had assumed control of locomotive production and allocation

In 1947 the I. C.C. ordered automatic train control to be used on locomotives exceeding 79 mph. 3751 received new equipment mounted on the right trailer truck frame which permitted her timetable a maximum speed of 90 mph.

By 1949 the "deflector" type stack was in place for use in the numerous tunnels over the Tehachapi grade.

On August 25, 1953, her fire was extinguished, but until then she had been on the point of many famous Santa Fe trains such as the Scout, the Navajo, the California Limited, the Chief, Fast Mail and Express, the Grand Canyon Limited, the El Tova, the San Diegan and standby for the Super Chief Diesel Streamliner in 1938. It is also interesting to note that while on standby for this train, 3751 had bettered the diesel locomotive's performance with quicker times between Los Angeles & Barstow!

June, July 1953 was the last big 4-8-4 show, indeed the last for all AT&SF steam. Sixty-four 4-8-4's made mileages of 350,343 in June and 343,627 in July.

The good and bad of chat rooms

The rise of the internet has given people of all ages the abilities to communicate with friends and to make new friends in many easy ways. People can send emails, start a blog, or create a personal webpage to keep people connected to the happenings of their life. Chat rooms have become another main way that people communicate and build relationships with one another. And like any source of connection and communication, chat rooms has both pros and cons.

There is no denying that chat rooms are a great way to meet people. You simply log in, enter a chat room and begin having conversations with other people in that are logged in. You can initiate conversations with people or they can initiate conversations with you. Sounds harmless, right?

Chat rooms can also be great to connect with people with whom you have things in common. Chat rooms are created for people with certain hobbies, beliefs or lifestyles. People who love to cook can certainly find chat rooms for others who love to cook and teens who love to skateboard can use chat rooms to find other skateboarders.

Chat rooms have their dangers. Because all you need to do in entering chat rooms is sign in, think about all of the people who can make up identities that are not their own. A ten year old boy can sign into chat rooms as a thirty year old mother of three. Or, worse yet, a sixty year old man can pretend to be twenty five and in search of the perfect girl. So while it is fine to enter chat rooms if all you are looking for is fun, do not let yourself get hopeful about meeting a new best friend or the wife of your dreams each time you sign into chat rooms.

Parents needs to be especially watchful about their children's habits on the internet. Monitor them carefully to see that they are not entering chat rooms that are inappropriate for their age and interests. Children are smarter than you think and more able to find their way to what they want online. Many parents would be shocked to learn the things their children see and learn on websites and in chat rooms.

So yes, chat rooms can be fun and harmless, but they can just as easily become dangerous and addictive. Know yourself and know your family members well before giving yourself or anyone else the freedoms to search the internet and spend time in chat rooms.

Minerals - good for your bones organs and tissue

Minerals are as important as vitamins when it comes to overall health and well-being. Since all enzymatic activities in the body require minerals, your body wouldn't be able to use vitamins and other nutrients without them. Calcium, Magnesium, Chromium, Iron, Selenium and Zinc are just a few of the numerous minerals essential to continued health.

For years the supplement market has been dominated by vitamins, but vitamins and amino acids are useless without minerals because all enzyme activities involve minerals. Minerals for healthy bones, organs, and tissue minerals are needed to maintain the delicate cellular fluid balance, to form bone and blood cells, to provide for electrochemical nerve activity, and to regulate muscle tone and activity (including organ muscles like the heart, stomach, liver, etc.)

Minerals act as catalysts for many biological reactions within the body, including muscle response, the transmission of messages through the nervous system, the production of hormones, digestion, and the utilization of nutrients in foods.

Minerals are primarily stored in bone and muscle tissue so toxicity is a possibility. Toxicity risks increase when one isolated mineral is ingested without any supportive cofactor nutrients. Such situations of mineral toxicity are quite rare, because toxic levels accumulate only if massive overdoses persist for a prolonged period of time.

Benefits

• maintains healthy bones, organs and tissue

• regulates muscle tone

• assists with the formation of bone and blood cells

Scuba diving more accessible than you thought

Since the early 20th century, SCUBA diving has gone from an incredibly risky undertaking well out of reach for all but the fabulously wealthy to a relatively safe sport with a rapidly growing participant community.

SCUBA stands for Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus, so named for the tanks and other gear which divers carry on their backs allowing them to breathe underwater. Although this gear termed “life-support equipment” and a commitment of real training is necessary in order to become safe and proficient enough with it to dive even in a small lake or quarry, technological advancements and improvements in science and engineering have enabled longer times underwater, deeper dives, and reduced danger in this exhilarating activity enjoyed by athletes and nature lovers.

Having originally been popularized by Jacques-Yves Cousteau and Emile Gagnan, who built the Aqualung (a name still used in Britain to describe Scuba equipment today), Scuba is now enjoyed by millions of people worldwide ranging from locations as temperate tropical waters to under-ice sub-arctic diving for scientific purposes or by adventure seekers.

Many people are unaware of the length of time necessary to attain Scuba proficiency and certification – in the United States, the two major certification bodies are National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI) and Professional Association of Dive Instructors (PADI). Depending on the course, new divers can get certified in as little as three to four days of actual instruction – since the courses are based on performance standards and not on hours of instruction, this number can be higher or lower. Also, if a diver wishes to do more technical and dangerous dives or to use more advanced equipment, more training would be necessary in order to ensure safety.

Anyone who enjoys vacations to tropical areas or who appreciates nature and enjoys the water can now consider Scuba diving, thanks to the advances mentioned in science and engineering, as well as the establishment of standardized certification and training programs worldwide. If you’ve never considered it, much more information is available online to help you decide if Scuba makes sense for you.

The 6 best seduction techniques

The dating game is all about the approach. If you dont try you are never going to get a date on your terms. Most people feel a little intimidated when they enter the dating game. They feel the pressure when trying to walk up to someone they dont know and ask for a date. Breaking the ice is an important first step in this nerve racking process in the search for romance. The opening words you may utter will speak volumes. Literally, in less than 10 seconds you will either have set yourself up for life, have a definite date, or be going home alone as usual with your tail between your legs.

The initial step in initiating a date are simple but daunting. Psychologists tell us that people make their mind up within seconds and I think most of us who are truthful will agree that we know pretty much instantly if we are attracted to someone or not. This can be changed over time but why make it hard for ourselves? Why not strike when the irons hot and grab our date on the first attempt.

If that is the case why is speaking still important? Well, looks are the visual presentation and if someone likes the look of us, its a start but not the full package.

Here are some tips :

1) SMILE -

Psychology and body language experts agree that one of the easiest things you can do to make yourself instantly attractive and approachable is to smile. Make yourself look like a fun person to be with. The look of happiness is an attractive quality.

2) EYE CONTACT -

Harvard psychologist Zick Rubin discovered that when deeply in love, couples look at each other when talking, and are slower to look away when someone else joins the conversation. Simply lock eyes with the person you are attracted to and keep them there, even when they’ve finished talking or someone else joins in,’ advises sexpert and flirting guru Tracy Cox. This way they will know that you’re more interested in them than the other person. If they hold your gaze several times in a row, you can be quietly confident they like you too.

3) COPY BODY MOVEMENTS -

Mirroring someone’s body language is the single most effective thrick to flirting. Just match their gestures and movements. We like people who are like us. If they mirror our behaviour we sense they are on the same level and they tend to drop their guard and let us into their personal space. If the other person is interested they tend to start copying your body language too.

4) LISTEN -

They will feel more important and flattered if they feel you are listening to them. You are making them feel good about themselves and if they feel good about them selves they are more likely to stick around you, giving you all the time you need to impress them.

5) TOUCH -

Touch is the number one instant bonder. A momentary touch can have an electric effect on how somebody feels about you. The more you like someone, the more you want to touch them and the more you touch them, the more they tend to like you.

6) COMPLIMENTS -

Compliments, if done correctly will always make someone feel good about themselves. They are more likely to like you and become more responsive to your advances

It is often said that women are genrally attracted to men who are witty and amusing. This can be confirmed if you look at any dating column request. “Must have a (GSOH) good sense of humor”. A funny, comical approach is always a great opener. Women dont want a 24hour stand up comedian but to break the ice, humor does work. The delivery of this humor is essentially the key, which brings me to my final point.

Chat up lines. They do work, and always will if done correctly. For some, chat up lines are a chore and look stressful to watch. Many come across as aggressive and foolish just because their anxiety levels are rocketing. Under these stress level they just tense up or communicate in a manner they would under normal circumstances. It is all about practice and confidence. The more people you speak to, the more socialable you become and the quicker you will master it.

Look at chat up lines as an ice breaker, not the foundations of a potential relationship

The time-efficient guide to buying snowboarding gear

If you're eager to hit the slopes as soon as possible and finally learn how to snowboard like a pro but still lack the essential snowboarding gear and equipment to get started on your hobby, here's a quick shopping list so you can purchase everything you need from the shop in the shortest time possible!

A List of Snowboarding Gear and Equipment for Beginners

Snowboard - Let's start with the most obvious requirement in snowboard gear. Your choice of snowboard will determine the quality of performance you'll expect from yourself and from the snowboard itself. Your choice will also determine the level of agility and speed you'll enjoy when you're snowboarding.

There are three primary types of snowboards. Freestyle snowboards are short and most suitable for novice snowboarders such as yourself not only because of their size but for its flexibility as well. You'll be able to control freestyle snowboards more easily than other types of boards.

The second type is known as freeride snowboards. These are best for snowboarders who are one or a few levels beyond the novice stage but can in no way refer to themselves as experts...for the time being. Freeride snowboards, incidentally, are arguably the most popular type of snowboard as it allows people to gauge their snowboarding skills and explore their talents without putting themselves in too much danger.

The last type is called alpine snowboards. Whereas freestyle snowboards are known for its flexibility, alpine snowboards are known for its rigid build. They are great for players with highly advanced snowboarding skills and enjoy the thrills of going downhill in incredible speed. This is also the right type of board to use if you wish to make perfect turns and curves.

Snowboard Bindings - Although they may appear flimsy and useless, snowboard bindings in fact play a significant role in keeping snowboarders safe while practicing their favorite sport. There are several types of snowboard bindings for you to choose from: strapped, flow-ins, plated, step-ins, and those without base (baseless).

Snowboarding Boots - Another equally overlooked factor when it comes to increasing the level of safety and protection that a snowboarder enjoys while he's making all sorts of turns and jumps in the slopes are snowboarding boots. Besides offering comfort and warmth to your feet, they also prevent this area - which includes the ankles - from physical injury, or at least reduce the risk of encountering it. Again, there are several types of snowboarding boots that you can choose from - hard boots, soft boots, and those that mix the features of both. When purchasing snowboarding boots, make sure that you purchase those which are durable and you feel comfortable wearing for long periods of time.

Snowboarding Outfit - Just like boots, the right snowboarding outfit will keep you safe and secure from physical harm. It will also keep you warm and lessen the risks of getting affected by hypothermia or frostbite. When shopping for snowboarding apparel, important factors to consider are comfort, quality, and durability or protection against all the natural elements that it will be sure to be exposed to!

Snowboarding Goggles - Lastly, contrary to popular belief, snowboarding goggles are not used for aesthetic purposes only. Rather, they are worn by snowboarders to improve their sense of sight. It's important to see very clearly where you're going because there are a lot of dangers that you'll encounter when you're snowboarding.
